Description: Spanish-speaking Insurance Licensed inside sales representative/Customer Sales & Service Representative (CSSR)

Purpose: The inside sales representative will work cooperatively with outside sales and other members of the agency team to grow existing customer base, create new customers, and meet or exceed monthly sales goals as established by the agency,while increasing customer satisfaction and a positive customer experience.

Skills/Qualifications: Licensed with the CA DOI for Property and Casualty and/or Life and Health, Customer Service Experience, Insurance Product Knowledge, Quality Focus, Problem Solving/Conflict Resolution Skills, Phone Skills, Resolving Conflict, Analyzing Information, Multi-tasking. Due to the current customer based, all candidates who apply must be bilingual in Spanish.

 

Inside Sales/Customer Service RepresentativeJob duties

 

Inside Sales:

  • Increase sales by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering additional lines of business
  • Identify customer needs and expectations and recommend specific products and solutions

Client Retention:

  • Communicate with clients (in officeor on phone) to present insurance solutions and discuss price, coverage, and terms of contracts in accordance with company procedures
  • Accurately process customer transactions such as policy changes, signed required documents, quotes, and all other requests as needed to avoid policy cancellation
  • Educate customers about terminology, features andbenefits of products in order to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction
  • Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaint

Office Management:

  • Obtain accurate information from vendors (claims) relating to client issues
  • Setup and maintain customer files
  • Identify trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction

Other Duties:

  • Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the agency team
  • Maintain proficiency in using computer/internet, client management system and other common office equipment and software
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Present a professional image at all times to customers and vendors
  • Perform other duties as assigned
